You can reach Iloilo City from other parts of the country in style.By air there are more than ten flights daily from Manila to iloilo which takes about 50 minutes. From Cebu City to Iloilo takes only 35 minutes with two trips daily from the cities of Davao, Gen. Santos, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro and Zamboanga you can reach Iloilo thru connecting flights via Cebu City. It is only 30 minutes drive from newly constructed airport of international standard in Sta. Barbara-Cabatuan to St. Paul's Hospital.
By sea sailing trips it takes about 16 - 18 hours from Manila with 10-12 trips weekly. In Mindanao, from the cities of Cagayan de Oro, Zamboanga, Iligan and Ozamis it is 12-14 hours sea trip once a week , the cities of Davao and Gen. Santos is 24 hours trip once weekly. Cebu to Iloilo is 12 hours boat ride with 9 trips weekly, Bacolod City vice versa has 21 trips daily via fast craft for an hour, and 4 times daily via roll on roll off ferry. Bus ride from Manila via Philippine Super Nautical Highways passing thru the provinces of Batangas, Oriental Mindoro and Aklan is about 18 - 22 hours to reach Iloilo with fives lines serving the route. |
